"I honestly don't know." She said, looking up at him. It was something that'd bothered her only a little when she only had herself to look out for. "Human wizards are long lived. The oldest I know of is of years old. Over a thousand, potentially, but he won't confirm it or deny it. But most of the senior council is over three hundred at least." Molly looked away and a cold creep began to seep through her. What if he didn't want to deal with her living so long? It wasn't a fun thought. She wanted to stop and make a joke out of it, convince him she was teasing, but she couldn't do it. He deserved the truth, all of it, if they were going to make this into something substantial.
She took a breath and continued. "But those are human wizards. I'm not...the Mantle changed me. I'm still human, but there's Faerie magic in me now. I don't know what kind of affect that'll have. Mab is over a thousand years old. Mother Winter could be as old as humanity or older. No one knows. And this place...I could have changed again and not know." She met his eyes. "I wish I did know so I could tell you."
