"It isn't," Will replied honestly. He was at a point now where she could have told him she believed Santa Claus was real and it wouldn't have made a difference in how he felt about her. They were supposed to be walking slowly, but Will found he was rushing a little and had to force himself to slow down.

"There's nothing about you that's a problem for me," he told her, squeezing her hand. "Nothing."

Even though they were walking now, and Will was consciously making an effort to go slowly, he found himself miles ahead. Not just to where they were going tonight, but beyond that. It was irrational and against his nature, but he couldn't help himself. He was ready to commit to this, to her, body, mind, and soul.
