Will realizes, as he and Molly begin to eat, that this is the first meal he's shared with someone since he came here. He's had drinks with people a couple of times, but this is the first time he's eaten in someone else's presence. It doesn't feel strange aside from the fact that he doesn't have to worry about Molly's motives like he used to the people he typically shared a table with before.
